Even though the scenes associated with Volterra were shot in neighboring Montepulciano, Volterra won’t be disappoint us either. This Etruscan town offers countless sights with the Roman theater, fortress and medieval streets.

If you don’t head south from Pisa, but head north, you’ll come across wonderful hidden fishing villages like Tellaro (69 km from Pisa). It is a very nice village with battered houses in rich colors, it brings the classic Italian style.
