Riano is a charming little town in the north of Spain, situated on the shores of a beautiful lake, between the peaks of the Picos de Europa mountain range. The town's most famous attraction is the lake itself, fed by streams from the valleys. The turquoise-blue waters and the panoramic view of the surrounding mountains are stunning. The town was rebuilt in the 1980s after the original village was flooded by an artificial reservoir.
