Labin, another charming jewel box of Istria

The medieval town of Labin is situated on a hilltop (325 metres above sea level), just 3 km from the Adriatic Sea. From the town you have a beautiful view of Kvarner Bay and Rabac, a popular seaside resort.

The city has a rich history and culture dating back to Roman times. When you go for a walk, there's plenty to see: churches, museums, art galleries and charming streets. From the Fortica viewpoint you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding islands and the sea. Labin is not crowded with tourists, although during the summer months, many tourist in Rabac choose to visit this picturesque little town. In the spring and autumn months, it is more convenient to explore this charming little historic town.
