Zadar is a bustling city with a beautiful old town, but the sights around Zadar invite travelers to explore the hidden gems of the region. Nin (17 km from Zadar) Also known for the largest sandy beach and medicinal mud in Croatia, Nin is a small Croatian town built on the bed of a dried-up river. Medicinal mud is used to heal a variety of diseases, and is also recommended for rheumatic complaints as well as various skin problems.

Dugi otok


Dugi otok is also called a long island with a length of 45 km. It is primarily recommended for those who are looking for quiet, peaceful relaxation away from the noisy crowds. You can get to the island by ferry from Zadar, the ferry is about an hour if you go to Saliba (the capital of the island). The main attractions include the Telašćica Bay Nature Reserve (picturesque rocky shores, small caves) and the sandy beautiful Sakarun Bay (with white sandy beach and slowly deepening water).

Kornati islands

Kornati islands


The Kornati Islands consist of about 150 white rocky islands, and due to the unique marine life much of the Kornati sea area has been declared a national park. The archipelago is a paradise for divers and sailors. Here we can find accommodations in the private houses only, as there is no infrastructure , so here we can ejoy the the complete retreat.


Galevac island


The small island of Galevac, also known as Školjić, is only 85 meters away from the village of Preko. The pine forest turns it into an oasis of beauty and peace. In the middle of the island stands the 15th century St. Paul's Monastery and a small church. The island is the smallest inhabited island on the Adriatic coast.


River Zrmanja


River Zrmanja is one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe, with wonderful waterfalls, perfect for rafting and kayaking, providing a safe opportunity for active recreation, even for beginners. Rafting tours are available in spring and autumn, and kayak and canoe tours in Zrmanja are offered in July and August.
